Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the DragonThursday, 23 October 2008Ten years on from the release of the original game, the latest adventure for Spyro the Dragon is now available to buy in the US. Spyro the Dragon: Dawn of the Dragon starts where the previous game ended, with Spyro and Cynder chained together. A new feature allows the player to switch between either character, the two dragons having different combat styles and abilities. A new developer (Etranges Libellules) has been brought in, giving the game world a different visual style which looks even better on next-gen consoles such as the PS3 or XBox 360. Another new feature is the ability to fly at any time. The voice acting cast is impressive and includes Elijah Wood, Gary Oldman and Mark Hamill. Dawn of the Dragon is supposedly the last of the Spyro games. We'll see. |
