Krystonia Figurines

The world of Krystonia is a fantasy land inhabited by cute dragons, wizards... and the evil N'Borg. Many of its inhabitants, including dragons, have modelled for a range of collectible figures.

As the name suggests, crystals are of supreme importance in Krystonia. Crystals equate to power and the wizards use them to keep N'Borg and his Honji soldiers in check. Most of the figures include a crystal chosen to complement the design.

The first Krystonia figures - nineteen of them - were released in 1987 along with the book Chronicles of Krystonia. Since then over two hundred figures have been created, most designed by David Woodard and Pat Chandok. Some figures are modelled after characters in the Krystonia stories, others are designed as figures first and stories then written around them. Some figures are limited edition collectibles, others unlimited runs. They are distributed by Precious Arts.

Stories have always been a large part of the Krystonia philosophy and some figures are designed to fit together to tell a story. The world of Krystonia is supported by four books: The Chronicles of Krystonia, Krystonian Adventures, Krystonia III and The Wondrous Web.

Since 1989 there has been a Krystonia Collectors' Club. This allows access to limited edition pieces, a newsletter, competitions etc.
