Flying Flame
Charizard is a fire-breathing, flying dragon from the Pokemon video game and trading card game. The Japanese name for Charizard is "Rizaadon" ("Lizardon").
Charizard is a stage 2 Pokemon - number 006. It evolves from Charmeleon.
Charizard was a member of Ash Ketchum's team, evolving initially to battle an Aerodactyl. Charizard was initally loathe to follow orders, however over time he came to obey Ash. He now lives in the Charisific Valley.
As well as its Flamethrower signature attack, Charizard has a Seismic Toss special ability that he uses against the more powerful Pokemon opponents.
