YuGiOh - Legendary Dragon CardsThe three legendary dragon cards appear in the YuGiOh "Waking the Dragon" stories. They are extremely powerful unique cards - unfortunately (at least at the time of writing) they exist only in the Duel Monsters anime series and you can't buy the cards in the "real world".
What Are The Legendary Dragons?There are three legendary dragons in the YuGiOh universe: Timaeus, Critias and Hermos. Although they are usually called dragons, they are rather more complex than that. They aren't true monsters but are actually ritual magic cards. They are also sometimes known after their ritual powers: The Eye of Timaeus, The Fang of Critias and The Claw of Hermos.In their true form, the three legendary dragons were initially Knights - the Legendary Knights of Atlantis. The Legend of the Heart card was used by Yugi to release the Knights from the Dragon cards. When summoned, the Legendary Knights destroy the otherwise invulnerable Seal of Orichalcos. In addition, Timaeus can combine the Kights of Atlantis to form Knight of Destiny (the United Divine Dragon).
