Real World Dragons
Do dragons actually exist in the "real" world? In the traditional sense of the word, the answer is unfortunately "probably not".
However there are a number of lizards and amphibians - both large and small - that might have inspired dragon legends and proudly bear the name "dragon".

- Australian Water Dragons
- Chinese Water Dragons
- Salamanders
These are all real lizards known to science. There have also been numerous sightings through the years of other lizard-like creatures which have yet to be catalogued by the herpetologists. That's is the realm of cryptozoology, the study of unknown creatures.
